Version 1.1, last updated 17 July 2026
DOOZU ("DOOZU", "we", "us") operates a marketplace that connects businesses offering activities and experiences ("Partners", "you") with customers looking to book spare capacity at a discount. These Partner Terms govern your use of the DOOZU partner platform, including your business listing, published slots, integrations with your booking systems, and payments.
By creating a partner account, ticking the acceptance box on the application form, or continuing to use the platform, you agree to these terms on behalf of the business you represent and confirm you have authority to do so.
DOOZU is currently in its pre-launch period. During this period you can set up your business page, create activities, publish slots, connect booking system integrations, and prepare your presence, but the consumer app is not yet open to the public. We currently expect to open to consumers in autumn 2026. Timings may change, and we will keep you informed by email and in your dashboard.
No commission or fees are charged during the pre-launch period, and no customer bookings will occur until consumer launch. You can delete your account and listings at any time before launch at no cost.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your business information, activity descriptions, prices, images, and availability. You must hold all rights needed to upload the content you provide, and you grant DOOZU a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content in the DOOZU apps, website, and marketing for the purpose of promoting your listings.
We may remove or decline content that is inaccurate, unlawful, or inconsistent with the DOOZU brand and community standards. We will tell you if we do and why.
Listings go live only after we approve your application. We may decline or suspend accounts that do not meet our standards, with reasons provided. You must keep your contact and payout details up to date.
You choose which slots to publish, their capacity, and the discount applied, within the platform's supported range (currently 15 to 80 percent off your standard price). Published live slots are bookable instantly by customers, and each confirmed booking is a binding commitment by you to honour that slot at the discounted price.
If you connect a booking system integration or calendar feed, you authorise DOOZU to read availability from that system, create and update corresponding DOOZU slots, and, where the integration supports it, write confirmed DOOZU bookings back into that system. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your connected systems.
DOOZU charges a commission on the value of each completed booking, at the rate stated in your dashboard (typically 15 percent). Some partners, including early partners, may have a reduced or zero commission rate as agreed with us. When your commission rate is zero, you cover the card processing fees, which are itemised in your dashboard.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts, which are transferred on a rolling weekly basis. You are responsible for your own taxes, including VAT where applicable.
Customers may cancel a booking up to 2 hours before the slot start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 2 hours are non-refundable to the customer, and the booking value is settled as if completed.
If you need to cancel a slot, you must do so as early as possible through the dashboard. Affected customers receive a full refund, and no commission is charged. Repeated partner cancellations may lead to reduced visibility or suspension.
You may mark customers who do not attend as no-shows in your dashboard. No-show bookings are settled in your favour as completed bookings.
You must provide the activity as described, at the published time, to the standard a customer would reasonably expect at your full price. You must comply with all laws that apply to your activity, including health and safety, licensing, and insurance requirements, and hold appropriate public liability insurance.
Customers booked through DOOZU are shared customers. You must not use DOOZU customer data for marketing outside the platform without the customer's consent, or encourage customers to book off-platform to avoid commission.
Each party is an independent controller of the personal data it processes. DOOZU shares with you the booking information needed to deliver the activity (customer name, party size, booking reference). You must process that data only to deliver the booking and in accordance with UK GDPR, and delete it when no longer needed.
Customers can leave ratings and reviews after attending. We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative, but we will remove content that is unlawful, offensive, or demonstrably fake.
You are responsible for the delivery and safety of your activities. DOOZU is a marketplace and is not the provider of the activities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, each party's aggregate liability to the other under these terms in any 12 month period is limited to the commission paid or payable by you to DOOZU in that period, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
These terms apply while you have a partner account. You can close your account at any time from your dashboard settings; bookings already confirmed must still be honoured or cancelled with refunds under section 7. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, with notice and an opportunity to remedy where practical.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email and in your dashboard. Continuing to use the platform after the notice period means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you may close your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between us in relation to the partner platform.
